Moshe YankovskyMoshe, "The Russian Percussion," is an incredible drummer who really "does it all"--all styles of music, percussion, beatboxing, and all kinds of vocal effects to accompany his solid, energetic, and creative drumming. In his long career as a professional musician, he has played with bands of various styles and in many different cultures--Russia, New York, Spain, and Israel.
Ely JaffeEly, a guitarist extraordinaire who recently made aliyah, is making quite an impact on the Israel music scene with his musical sensitivity and formidable skills on the fretboard. Ely has been the guitarist for the famed "Moshav Band" for the past two years, and hosts a popular channel on YouTube where he creates unique renditions of famous songs.
Nir MotzeriNir is a multi instrumentalist and plays the violin, mandolin, bouzouki and various flutes to the delight of many. Koby KlarKoby is a fantastic bassist and is very well known in Israel, playing for famous artists including Shlomo Katz, Aaron Razel, Rami Kleinstein, and many more. A seasoned musician, he has a style that is intricate yet rock-solid. His mean playing is in contrast to his soft-spoken demeanor, and takes the band's "groove factor" to the next level.
Josh AlpertR' Josh Alpert aka Mr. Shabbos, features his unique style of Bluegrass, Irish, Country and Carlebach.... singing and playing banjo, guitar, trumpet, mandolin, flutes and keys, ( not all at the same time). Mr Shabbos has energized audiences all over the globe. Levana Chajes
Levana Chajes, now age 18, has been playing the violin for over a decade. The daughter and granddaughter of professional musicians, Levana has lived a life of musical immersion of great variety, built on a solid base of classical training that included a year of study at the renowned Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. With her father and siblings, she also performed throughout the United States and Israel as part of the Hayyot haKodesh Jewish music ensemble. As her father Yossi was a student and accompanist of R’ Shlomo Carlebach for many years, this family band specialized in unique arrangements of R’ Shlomo’s niggunim for voice, guitar, violin, viola, and cello, and was invited to perform in the annual Carlebach Yahrzeit Concert at Binyanei ha-Uma (I.C.C.) in Jerusalem. This year, Levana is serving in a sherut leumi (National Service) program in Jerusalem that combines home visits to the elderly with a range of musical activities. Her charming fiddle-playing and diverse repertoire (from Bach to Carlebach) means that she’s perfect for every occasion—from an elegant dinner party to the liveliest wedding.

Yerachmiel "Rocky" ZieglerYerachmiel is a world reknowned vocalist with a powerful, smooth voice and infectious positive energy. He started his career at age 8 as a soloist for Tzlil VeZemer and has since appeared on many albums, sang at large concerts with all of the major Jewish singers (MBD, Avraham Fried etc.), and recently went on tour as the backup vocalist for Matisyahu. His voice is currently heard on the radio airwaves, thanks to the recent release of a popular duo album, by Yerachmiel and Aaron Razel called, Raza D'shabbos (The Secret of Shabbos).
Rafi BarkatsRafi is creative powerhouse. His smooth playing style and ingenious improvisational talents on Saxophone and Clarinet have made him a very sought-after player in the Israel music scene. He is a member of various bands including Acharit Hayamim, Majuda, Baba and the Boom Band, Yehuda Galantz and more.
Shaul David JudelmanRav Shaul is not only a humble scholar, he is also a master of the saxophone. He has a thorough musical proficiency, an extensive repertoire ranging from Jazz to Carlebach, and an energetic stage presence. He can be seen playing at weddings throughout Israel, and is also a member of Acharit Hayamim and The Roz Hartman Band.
Eliezer BlumenLazer is a world-famous electric guitarist with a command of his instrument that is truly spectacular. His powerful skills have attracted alot of buzz: He has recently been featured on ABC News, and has also appeared on the front cover of the Jerusalem Post. But besides his skill, it's his unique positive energy that makes all of his performances a world of fun.
Daniel HoffmanDaniel was born and raised near Los Angeles and first heard klezmer music played by his father. After graduating from the Manhattan School of Music in New York, he formed acclaimed klezmer bands "Davka" and the "Klez-X" Daniel has developed a reputation as one of the foremost experts of the Yiddish violin style. In Israel he performs with Trio Carpion, Andralamoussia, the Udi Horev Quartet, Echo 3, Yehuda Katz, Keren Friedman and the Jazzraelites, among others. He currently teaches at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and recently began producing the pilot episode a 36-part documentary film series called Violin Around the World which explores the role of the violin in diverse cultures worldwide. He moved to Israel in 2005 and lives in Tel Aviv.
Elimelech GrundmanElimelech Grundman is a dynamic drummer who has and currently plays with the likes of Aron Razel, Hamakor, Shlomo Katz, Soulfarm and more.... his style of playing is precise and groovy, very in the pocket oriented. Elimelech has been playing the drums for almost 26 years and out of that time almost 17 years on the professional stage. He started out playing in the Jewish music scene in NY with Negina Orchestras and Aish Orchestas as well as The Piamenta Band and many more.
Lev Moshe LeventerLev Moshe Leventer is a freelance musician and graduate from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. He studied classical music with top violin professors Paul Kantor and Andrew Jennings at the University of Michigan. When in NY he can be seen playing with "Pey Dalid" a Reggae Carlebach Jam Band , "Darshan", a Jewish Hip Hop band led by M.C. E-Prime (a.k.a Eden Perlstein), and "The Latin Tones", a 1970s style Salsa band based in East Harlem. From May 2008 to June 2009, Lev traveled through Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and India playing music in the street and collaborating with Klezmer bands, Arab and Indian musicians. He also went by train from Istanbul to Amsterdam to Rome in 2005, playing and learning music in each city along the way. In 2006, he recorded his first solo album: Bach's D minor Violin Partita.
Ben WallickBorn and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ben Wallick was always an avid music fan. His first real love was the Beatles, and Ben remembers till this day eagerly watching the Anthology videos on television when he was just a boy. At some point his parents directed him towards the piano, which he pursued for a few years until he made the switch to the bass guitar. Primarily an electric bass player, Ben nevertheless managed to pick up the guitar, get back into piano in a big way and even learn some upright bass along the way. He studied music theory and history in both high school and college.
During the college days, Ben played in several groups including Dank Skullkap, Gavriel Kahane, Yaakov Chesed and Sonic Itch, the dynamic duo that brought you the hit single "How About Me?" Ben's musical influences range from Radiohead and Paul Simon to Charles Mingus. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Queens College in Flushing, NY. In September 2009, Ben made his way over to Israel, realizing his Aliyah dreams. He currently resides in Jerusalem where he is involved in numerous musical projects including (but not limited to) producing your next hit record! |
